I am proud to say I have been a nurse practitioner since 2006. My nursing experience had been in the intensive care unit for 10 years prior to that. I then applied for my nurse practitioner degree at Regis University in Denver Colorado. After graduating in 2006, I worked in family practice for a year, then moved back to Omaha where I worked at The University of Nebraska Medical Center for Solid Organ Transplant. I was employed there for 3 years and then changed paths to enter the world of aesthetic medicine. It was here that I found my passion. I have been working in the Med Spa Industry since 2009. I am trained in physician grade skin care products, botox, fillers, and lasers. The lasers include, hair removal, skin tightening, tattoo removal, pixel, IPL, and vein treatments. I truly love my job and thoroughly enjoy making people look and feel their best. I look forward to fulfilling all of your skin care needs.
I have 13 years of experience as a physician assistant (P.A.) in transplant and cardiothoracic surgical sub-specialties. I received my P.A. masters degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and have spent the majority of my career right here in Omaha. I am excited to be moving into the growing field of aesthetic medicine, and am especially interested in the science behind the products and services Bare Body Shop offers. With my background including a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and previous work as a chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, the quality of the skin care products, and the effectiveness and safety of the laser services are of utmost importance to me. I am excited to provide these top-notch services and products for my clients at Bare Body Shop.
I received my BSN from Clarkson College of nursing in 2005. I then began my career as a nurse at NMC in the operating room. I was extensively trained in orthopedic, pediatric, plastic, trauma and general surgery. After five years, I decided to hang up my OR scrubs and pursue another passion of mine, medical aesthetics. I love helping others to look and feel their best. The journey to transforming your skin is so exciting and I can’t wait to help you.
As long as I can remember I wanted to be in the medical field. I initially thought my path would take me to medical school, but once I had my son I knew nursing was a better choice for me. As a nurse I love being able to build relationships with the patients and their families, helping those I serve through whatever challenge they are facing. I started my nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care and am now in Plastic Surgery and Medical Esthetics. I am very excited about being able to help people look and feel their best here at Bare Body Shop. I truly love being able to go through this great self-journey with our clients.
I began my nursing career in 1996 after graduating from UNMC College of Nursing. I was blessed to have spent 19 years in Labor and Delivery. I take pride in my ability to connect with people. I have always been an avid consumer of quality skin care and wanting to look my best. I was thrilled when the opportunity presented 3 years ago to enter the world of medical aesthetics. I am here, along with this amazing staff, to help you look and feel your best!
I started my undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelors in Business. I always had a passion for nursing and decided to continue my education as a student of nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2001, I received my Bachelors of Nursing degree. My first nursing position began at Bergan Mercy Hospital on a post critical unit. I enjoyed helping patients and building relationships with their families. I am currently continuing my graduate education through the Nurse Practitioner program at Clarkson College. Aesthetic medicine has always been a strong interest of mine, which is why I seized the opportunity to become part of the Bare Body Shop team. I look forward to the opportunity to educate our clients about skin care and their ongoing aesthetic needs to feel and look their best!
I received my license from Xenon International Academy in 2014 and have been practicing esthetics ever since. Prior to being an esthetician I studied at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I decided to switch paths once I discovered I could make a career out of my passion for skin care and beauty. I worked as an independent esthetician at Dolce Salon and Spa in Kearney as well as a traveling freelance makeup artist. After a year, I moved to Omaha and broadened my scope of practice while working at a plastic surgeon’s office doing medical esthetics, assisting, and patient coordination. My goal at Bare Body is to not only treat but educate clients on how to achieve their skin’s optimal health.
I am a native Nebraskan and a big fan of the Huskers. After college I sold real estate for many years and also took part in the whole sale mortgage world for about two years. I am a wife and mother of two boys and also have two grown step-daughters. I am passionate about health and fitness, so the gym seems to be where I get the majority of my social interaction. I also volunteer at the AAA Crisis Pregnancy Center and have been a part of the Hope Center for Kids Guild. I love working with people and am extremely excited about my role on the Bare Body Team.
I am a wife and mother to three busy kids. After being out of the workforce for a very long time, I was excited to join the great group of girls at Bare Body Shop. Being a stay at home mom is/was a privilege, but it is so awesome to be involved with a place that people come to in order to see a difference in themselves and to know that I can do something to help make their experience a positive one. As a former client, I knew it was an exciting environment and one that I could put my customer service skills to good use. After five moves in nine years, I couldn’t be happier to call Nebraska home, and have enjoyed all that it has given to our family, including the opportunity for me to be a part of the Bare Body Shop team.
I was born and raised in Omaha. After high school I packed my bags and headed to Northwest Missouri State University to earn my Bachelor of Science degree. Upon returning to Omaha, I began my Student Services career at a local college while pursuing my Master of Science in Counseling. Eleven years of customer service and three young, active children later, I made the difficult decision to forgo my career to take care of my family. Being a stay at home mom has been wonderful but with my youngest joining her brothers in school it left me yearning to make a contribution and help others during their absence. So, here I am at Bare Body Shop, excited and eager to help clients get started in their journey to a more beautiful you.
Originally from Colorado, I moved to Nebraska to finish my education degree at UNL. Yes, I became a Husker fan! I am a wife and a mother of four, so I definitely live an active lifestyle! When I do have time to myself, I enjoy going to the gym, golfing, reading, and spending time with friends. I love working with people and have always been drawn to the customer service arena. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Bare Body Shop team! I am thrilled to be working for such a positive, innovative company!
I’ve lived in Omaha most of my life and attended Marian High School and UNO. I’m a wife, mother and now grandmother. I’ve spent 30+ years volunteering in the Omaha community and am passionate about my health and wellness. I’m very excited to be part of the Bare Body Team and love helping people look and feel their best.
I first fell in love with medicine at eight years of age. However, once I reached college, I decided I wanted to help others in a different capacity. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Special Education and a Coaching Endorsement in volleyball & basketball. Despite the many rewards of working in education, I found myself still wanting to be involved in medicine. I left education and gained experience as a Rehab technician, medical receptionist, transcriptionist, and patient intake specialist by working in both a hospital and clinic setting. I became involved with aesthetic medicine in 2010 and haven’t turned back. I look forward to assisting you on your journey towards looking and feeling your best!
